The Pilot Boat in is a wonderful oldy worldy pub in Bembridge the Isle Of Wight and I heartily recommend it to anyone taking a holiday in the Isle Of Wight,
Ok place for a drink but it gets taken over by the up themselves sailing bunch in the summer which changes things for the worst.
A real locals' pub but always friendly, the Pilot Boat is as nice for a quiet afternoon drink with the paper as it is for a long evening with friends.
Had friends staying for a couple of nights at the Pilot Boat. Wonderful rooms and at a very good rate, especially for the time of year. Best thing of all was there's a microbrewery at the back of the premises, and a lovely sunny place...
