Occupied for our reservation and waited for 45 minutiae and then left

During the order we asked our server vincent not our food where his answer was I know what I do. ok we order french plank soup and a wedge salad for appetizers, $140 porter house for two and creamy spinat. barely had two bites in our suppe and salat comes a bus person asking if we're done. No. two bits later vincent has our spinat in his hands. I remember asking you to be slow. vincent then accuses the kitchen staff. what we all know is that the server is the one who says the kitchen when you eat it. then he gets a job and goes away to mumble. I'm asking for a manager. vincent, then from a cross, the dining room tells him to get him. we collect our things and get out. I'll go back and ask for the manager. I say my disappointment and he agrees with me that he asks if we want to come back. we refuse. I'll give $40 cash and we'll go. we don't owe brandl, but we can't recommend that. greg

Food and atmosphere were excellent. they did not know that it was byob until we were there, but there is a wine/liquor shop right next door! a wonderful experience in total.

Brandl is one of my favorite restaurants in the nj shore area! eating is not what they find in other restaurants ambiente is very artsy / eclectic and our servers are great!

Excellent food and service! A guitarist played live music near our table, and the sound was pleasant and not overwhelming. We were a party of 10, and the service was great, as was the food. I definitely recommend Brandl and will return.
