Usually I have to anticipate overcooking and order rare, expecting medium rare, unless I'm ordering a very expensive steak. Will be back for sure. Edit: Been coming hereregularly since my first visit. Everything I've had has been great, including the service. Probably the best all aroundrestaurant in Newcastle. Good food, good prices, good service.

The coleslaw had no taste, th... read more We tried this for the first time tonight and have to say we were less than impressed. My son ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. The coleslaw had no taste, the bun was super dry and the French fries were soggy and half cooked. My wife ordered theFish and Chips. The fish was overly oily and as with my son, her fries were equally as soggy and half cooked. Lastly, I had theSalmon, Rice and Veggies. Overall the dinner seemed ok except for the rice which was overly dry. The bad news is 15m aftereating I got ill. My stomach was in knots, I felt bloated and gassy. 2 hours later and I am still recovering. This changed myrating from a 2 star to a 1. The food really is nothing special and my son said ?we would have been better off at Blazing Oniondown the street. I cannot recommend this establishment in any fashion. Now I will go back to hoping this illness passes.

The staff is... read more A fantastic spot for food, drinks, and pool! This is my personal go to spot to shoot pool. The professional Diamond tables are a dream to play on. The staff is always extremely friendly. And all the food that I have tried has been delicious. The restaurantis split with one side being the sit-down eating area and the other being the pool hall with a bar and more seating. The poolhall/bar has been newly renovated, and it is beautiful. It is the perfect place to book for parties, celebrations, or any otherevents. Something that should be noted is that the pool hall is sometimes used for league and tournaments. I recommend callingin advance to see if the hall is available for walk ins. Finally, the owner, Terry, is an amazing guy. He always checks in onme to see how I am doing when I visit, which is really kind. I highly recommend Terry?s Kitchen.

I decided to try the Prime Rib French Dip, which was absolutely delicious with a smoky flavor. I also ordered the fried chicken wings as an appetizer.
