Here with a friend for lunch. Super fresh ingredients, great presentation for a little diner. The chicken salad pack and her macaronisalate are the bomb. The Cobb salad is the spring mix and was also delicious. Big Bleu cheese dressing! The server was such a treasure. Quaint little place.. HIGHLY recommend. View all feedback.
What sillyslugs doesn't like about Oak Street Deli:
The food is amazingly fresh and delicious. However, the portions are small, and it is very expensive. My son had a cup of soup, my husband had 2 enchiladas, my daughter had 2 small Korean bao buns, and I had a tomato artichoke penne pasta (was offered hot or cold. I asked for hot, but it was cold)-very small. It came to $65. It was actually $55, but my husband gave $70 and got $5 back, so we considered the $10 a tip.... View all feedback.
Genuine good diner food with great selection at a very affordable price. Order at registers and food placed on your table.
The staff is very friendly. Sandwiches are made fresh to order so it can be some time, but definitely worth waiting.

Staff are great. Never had a meal that we did not like.
Vicky and her daughter Kate are so nice and always available for a chat, even if you are just walking by. (Not pictured) the sandwich special--the reuben was one of the best reubens I've ever had in my life. Also the mixed fruit shortcake. So fresh and delicious
