casual bbq joint with inside and outside seats available. we both had the burned ends and my man ordered the ribs. we enjoyed our meal very much. the staff was friendly and the service was fast. various drinks available both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. small selection at desserts when they have a place (we do not.) the personal thanked us that we are past the left. we would definitely return! there is room for improvement in every area related to eating. we ordered a 2 meat combination with sausage, brisket, cowboy beans and gurkensalat to go. brisket was dry and caramelization was too hard. Sausage was dry and not super delicious. BBQ sauce was weird. cowboy drilling were pretty good, but also a little dry. gurkensalat was quite solid. for the context, I am from the south and had some of the best bbq in... View all feedback.
Meal Type: Lunch Price Range: $10–20 Food Rating: 5/5 Service Rating: 5/5 Atmosphere Rating: 4/5 I highly recommend trying the Brisket Lunch, Baby Back Ribs, Pulled Pork, and their delicious BBQ. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score, and the service was equally impressive. The atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable, making it a great spot for lunch.
They no longer serve the beef ribs, which is a disappointment because they were fantastic. The cucumber salad is delicious and refreshing. However, the bacon cabbage tasted quite bland compared to previous years. On the bright side, the brisket is still incredibly tender and mouthwatering. I'm still giving it a 5-star rating just for that. Food: 4 Service: 5
We really wanted to enjoy this restaurant, but we found the brisket lacking in seasoning. The sausage was served lukewarm and didn't leave much of an impression on me. However, the burnt ends were quite tasty, thanks to the flavorful BBQ sauce that had a nice kick, which I appreciated. The pickles were delicious, too. I was hoping for more flavor in the mac and cheese. Overall, it was a decent experience, but not exceptional.
The BBQ was decent, but we opted for takeout because the fly situation was unbearable. While we were getting our food into to-go containers, I spotted a cockroach on a nearby table. Definitely not returning. Food: 2, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.
I received my food surprisingly quickly for a BBQ place, which seemed off. The bread was stale, the burnt ends were hit or miss—some rock hard and others soft. The cornbread came out cold and lacked any real flavor. The only redeeming item was the brisket, which was juicy, though it could have used more seasoning. The BBQ sauce was decent as well. Overall, I can only give this place one star.
