I can't understand why people have said they've encountered rudeness. I was treated very well & the gentleman was friendly & accomodating.I live in Kingston & was told about this place by family & they brought me a donair back. It was so yummy & I just had to go there myself. I ordered 6 donairs (not all for me) & asked for sauce on the side. In no time my order was ready & correct. I reheated it in the microwave & i... Obviously family run. Asked for salt for the well cooked delish - looking fries. Th gentleman barked that he had no salt. I convinced him to let me borrow the one sea salt shaker on premises. After that I was somewhat happy - I guess. View all feedback.
If you want to truly savor an excellent donair, you must make a trip to the East Coast. There's nothing else like it.
Without question, this is the real deal donair meat. Not some wannabee donair shop. Great food and great service. My only issue is that you can't buy as much meat as you want. That is only due to some idiot buying a bunch of meat and claiming it was made by him.It still doesn't stop me from driving one hour one way to grab a pound of donair meat.
The lady who works there is just super unfriendly and seemed inconvenienced that i was in the store. She should be grateful that anyone shows up for such terrible donairs. This place used to be really good, not sure what happened but all the ingredients were the wrong temperature and it just poured out sloppy wet donair sauce. Usually that would be a good thing, but it was super watered down sauce. Staff and food both need a refresh, i think.
This place used to be really good, but the quality has gone down by a lot in the past few years. It was expensive for the amount of meat you get. It's fair to note that eating a donair is messy, but even in Halifax I've never had a donair that was so wet and drippy. I also wish the customer service was a bit better, It was just a weird experience.
This restaurant used to be excellent, but the quality has significantly decreased over the past few years. The price was high for the portion size of meat provided. Donairs are typically messy to eat, but even in Halifax, I have never encountered one so wet and drippy. Additionally, I was disappointed by the customer service, as it made for a strange dining experience.
