What Hello1Ma1 doesn't like about Deane & Decano:
No atmosphere and very out-of-date decor, this place has a bit of a greasy spoon look about it. Staff were cold and seemed pleased to say, No we can 't do that, no we have none of that left . Food was ok, not what I had expected, as I had heard that Deane 's was quite a good chain. Didn 't really want to tip, but it was added to the bill automatically. Fantastic food and excellent front of house. A restaurant that never fails to deliver.
My mother and I went for lunch there today and although we have been many times and always enjoyed it today the host and staff were exemplary. It was very busy but our host got us a table we wanted and had it cleaned before use. The food was amazing and came promptly and the personality of our host made my Mother’s day as he was so charming and an asset to the business. Really enjoyed our lunch and will be back again soon

I've been fed to Deane and Decano for years and it's one of my favorite restaurants in Belfast. It offers sublimely prepared large food in a cool and upbeat environment. My last trip was on Tuesday, February 7th, when my wife and I went to the bathroom before the cinema. The staff is always friendly, helpful and fade in and out with ease. I had a wonderful beatroot and goat cheese salad to begin: it was superb: a well thought-out symphony of textures, taste and colors. Fresh ingredients that are brought to life with a deceptively demanding level of culinary thinking. Although not usually on the menu, I saw the double cheeseburger as a special and I had to try. I was intrigued because nothing is ever placed as a filler on the menu. Every dish I eat there has a culinary secret. Every court has a secret node for people who know good food. I wasn't disappointed: I don't exaggerate when I say that was the best Cheeseburger I ever tasted. It was a master class in texture and taste: inflammation and balance taste buds perfect. I had until this special Cheeseburger was not aware that a Cheeseburger could taste you, feel and experience such a range of pleasures. Deane and Decano are a must to see in Belfast.
What a welcoming change! Fresh food, pasta delish and great ambience. Our waiter was a great shot!
