For someone who 'd be happy to eat breakfast three times a day, the house smoked salmon with eggs hollandaise is a lunchtime treat. And I should have guessed, but just found out, that Mel makes all her sauces, dressings and 'juses ' from first principles I had to wait a couple of extra minutes because she was whipping up a new batch of hollandaise. Delicious!

I wouldn’t recommend eating here purely because they can’t take constructive feedback and they don’t seem to recognise the importance of building rapport with customers.I quote: they “care about their food, staff coffee” but I gotta say, caring about your customers is preferable too, wouldn’t you think? And of course the staff are disinterested, they are at WORK and dealing with the PUBLIC it must be so difficult to maintain a likeable personality during work hours (you have to look at the attached photos, it’s kind of an inside joke now I guess). ALSO (and I’m speaking directly to the person who responded to my review) Consider revising your use of “their, there and they’re” I’ve highlighted it for your convenience.)If they don’t leave another embarrassing reply below to prove my point I’ve attached photos for anyone who is bored and wants a laugh Also! Guess what THE FOOD IS AVERAGE and you’ve lost two stars just for being rude.

Their house made cakes are famtastic. Not sure $3.90 is too expensive for a coffee and well below most city prices. Coffee was very good.
