While it used to be a great place with fantastic service and great meals, it is no longer the case. The food is cold and the service from the chef is very poor.

We went to dinner and arrived just before 7 o'clock. It was quite busy, with many customers already eating. We placed our orders and I left to use the restroom... read more We went to dinner and arrived just before 7 o'clock. It was quite busy, with many customers already eating. We placed our orders and I left to use the restroom at 7:05. We were informed at the time of ordering that there was a 30-45 minute wait for food, which we accepted. More customers arrived after us and placed their orders. We noticed that some of these customers received their food while we continued to wait. After waiting for over an hour, we inquired about our meals and were told they would be ready in another 5 minutes. When my meal finally arrived, it was a simple dish of chicken, chips, and frozen vegetables (understandable considering the current price of fresh veggies), but the vegetables were still cold, not even heated, and the chips were also cold. One of my companions had ordered the grilled barramundi, but the dish that arrived was grilled fish that was not barramundi. None of the staff checked on us after we received our meals, and by then we were the only customers left in the dining area. Overall, it was a very disappointing evening. We have dined at various locations over the past 25 years, and this experience was by far the worst.

Absolutely the right choice we had an early dinner here and loved it. It is a nice, clean, family friendly venue with happy and...helpful staff. The menu, whilst not large, is filled with traditional pub food at reasonable prices. The servings were generous and the quality and presentation was excellent. Best of all it tasted fabulous and there was more than we could finish. We got there early, but the place filled up quickly and everyone seems happy with the food and the service. Definitely on our list of places to re visit.

Dining area is separated from the Public Bar and TAB so its a nice atmosphere.

I will be returning... read more I went for a birthday celebration and enjoyed the a lovely meal which was tasty and very well presented. Staff were very polite and helpful. I will be returning soon doing a booking for Christmas for 15 people. Please try this Restaurant food is great....Keep up the good work The Beech Bistro.
