There is a restaurant across the road that charges twice as much for food that is half as good. The place is an institution and I love getting my curry from here. Curry puffs are amazing. View all feedback.
What Vilma West doesn't like about Jessie's Curry Kitchen and Cafe:
Ordered food from this joint for dinner through today. Food was horrible. Nasi goreng that we ordered was indian vegetarian biriyani with some chicken pieces. Did not taste or look like Nasi Goreng at all. Then the Butter Chicken Dosai that we ordered was soggy and tasted terrible. We also ordered a vegetarian meal, it only had plain rice, two vegetarian dishes which had no taste at all.Horrible food and is not worth... View all feedback.
We ate at Jessie's Kitchen following a recommendation from a friend.
Reasonably priced and really tasty would probably have gotten this place a good review anyway but they went above and beyond for this order, my girlfriend
This modest, family-run, dine-in or take-away eatery specialises in Indian and Malaysian dishes.
Previously recommended this place, came here for dinner the curry puffs were fresh but cold in the middle and the small curry plate and large curry plate lacked flavour you received meat and veg curries yet both were bland and flavourless, we won't back
Lovely food, generous portions and very reasonable prices. Customer service is great! The owner greets you personally and food arrives pretty promptly. We ordered the curry plates large (2× meat, 2x veg dhal and rice) and small curry plate (1x meat, 1 x veg dhal and rice), the mortabak to share (chicken) and a mango lassi. The portions were huge and we got food for lunch today. All together came to $47. Its byo . Recommend booking before u go. They get busy!
