So when I say Roper's is in my top 3 restaurants I've ever eaten at means a lot. On top of the classic southern hospitality, the food is borderline life changing! Next time I'm in the area I've goin again.

I opted for the burger, which was also delicious. Our server was incredibly kind, and the dessert was just as delightful.

However, after ordering medium-rare steaks, I waited over 30 minutes... read more I visited this restaurant for the first time and was initially seated and greeted promptly. However, after ordering medium-rare steaks, I waited over 30 minutes without any sign of food or an update from our server. In fact, customers who arrived after us had already been served. When I finally had to interrupt the server's conversation to ask for the bill for our drinks, I was informed that our food was ready, though I had no way of knowing how long it had been sitting there. We politely declined the food, paid for our drinks, and left. Having worked in a steakhouse myself, I know that it shouldn’t take that long to cook a medium-rare steak. As we exited, the front dining room was empty, and all the tables that had come in after us were already enjoying their meals.
