Crystal Dining Room At Bedford Springs

The menu for New Year's Eve was fantastic and everything was cooked to perfection. The dining area is very bright, but the walls are adorned with black-and-white archival photos, which gives the space a more austere feel. I think it would be more interesting if two or three walls could rotate like a historical exhibition, allowing for the display of different items from their archives. The service was good—not overly attentive, but always there when needed. The wine selection is extensive and of high quality.

Our server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the entire menu. Unfortunately, there was a high-profile event taking place, which made the atmosphere quite loud (the chandelier was shaking) and caused delays at the bar, so our drinks took a while. We had to wait for our food, but when it arrived, it was very tasty. The dessert was delicious as well. We had a reservation around 8 PM, and we didn’t expect to spend almost two hours for dinner; we didn’t leave the restaurant until 9:45 PM. However, we made the best of it since it was our anniversary dinner. I believe that without the high-profile event happening above, the experience would have been much different and more pleasant, benefiting everyone involved.

Avoid dining here during peak hours. The lamps and decor in the restaurant shook from the extremely loud music coming from the event above. This made for an unpleasant and unrelaxing dining experience.

That was delicious. kellner was friendly and attentive.

We love going to the Springs for special occasions, birthday, anniversary, just to feel special. We were there on 12/03/2022 for a birthday, which was noted on our reservations, but was not acknowledged. We had prawns for appetizers, they were delicious, the pear salad was really good, my partner had never had it and he was impressed. He got the pappardele (pasta) with tomato's, mushrooms, spinach and fresh made pasta noodles. He thought it was very good. I had the filet; I like medium rare and it was done perfectly. I liked the way it was served. The asparagus was a surprise and it was prepared just right. We got the sphere for dessert, WOW! Our server Liz was outstanding, very polite, professional and knowledgeable of the menu. There was a wedding going on up above us and it was very loud. You almost had to yell across the table to get them to hear. The cost was pretty much for what we ordered. The bottle of wine was great. Would I recommend the Crystal Dinning room to a friend? Probably just make early reservations. We are going to try the pub next time.
