The food was very greasy and not too special for us. The pork mofongo was dried and didn't seem to be slow cooked as advertised. The appetizers were so so too. It's pretty expensive for the food quality. I'm glad that I tried this Porto Rican restaurant for curiosity, but definitely not coming back. The good side is that they have free parking. Wonderfully flavorful food and great, friendly service. We found Boriken on line as a favorite in Beaverton while visiting from Denver, and it didn't disappoint.
It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is well decorated. Reserved parking on the side. We all had the Mofongo and enjoyed it very much. We will return.
Outstanding. I love how the beautiful plate of food had so many different flavors and spices in it, and how generous the portions were. Family run business! Means a lot as our family runs a 30 year old local business. The owner came over andexplained the types of food and happily answered my questions. I’m hooked – – will be back again!
