Upper Room Cafe 2 - Beaufort

We were in SC for 4 days happened to notice upper room cafe oh we didn’t regret it . Real soul food fresh tasty , well deep seasoning food best fried chicken, fish , turkey wings in gravy with chicken rice , cozy atmosphere friendly staff great service I can go on best food I ate in Beaufort affordable I was gone forget the lemonade we had to buy extra to take with us to the hotel . Whenever I go back to Beaufort , SC I have to go back. The owner is very pleasant great informative conversation it’s we were home. Wish we could find some kind of soul food in NY

Larry serves up what I'm looking for; I've been in Florida too long!! this is the atmosphere, smells, tastes that I do love.Today had the chopped steak w gravy, field peas !!awesome!! string beans, red rice w gravy and sweet tea to wash it down. You deserve this great food; Larry and Ella deserve our business!

My son and I were riding and trying to decide what we wanted to eat. I saw this restaurant and shouted Upper Room… soul and seafood. Sounds like a place we want to eat. We both had the seafood platter. The fish and shrimps were very fresh and cooked to order. The fries were crispy as they should be. The owner was so pleasant. Wonderful experience and we will definitely be going back again and again.
