A slow roasted pork... read more Fine dining spends so much time trying to make poor and weird and different foods good, it forgets that... A filet is better than duck meat. A slow roasted pork shoulder is better than a dry pork steak. Potatoes are a gift from God. Beets, cucamelon, fennel bread, butter melted around a candle, and such... Just not the best tastes. Jalapeño and cheese together are just... Why have the cheese (you can 't taste it)? Goat cheese is great... But smothered with a weird salsa that just tasted... green wasn 't my favorite. The sauce baked onto the pork wasn 't good. But what they did make on the menu and feed us on the menu was perfect... For the food they offered. It was the beat duck I 've ever had. (And duck has always been... Bleh). And the fried Kylemore cheese was one of the best things I 've put in my mouth. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was delightful. Finally... Don 't eat the marshmallows. They are a weird napkin they hydrate in front of you. They WILL cleanse the pallet, but as I learned the hard way... Not edible.

We have never been disappointed. The service is wonderful, especially Fergal who knows every aspect of the menu and guides us through the wine list. Definitely go!
