Was Anonym at Donnelly's a mag?
While passing through Galway, i had the opportunity of dining at Donnelly's. It was late at night, had no expectations and yet i was very pleasantly surprised. I had the citrus calamari to start and the catch of the day and traditional fish and chips as my main. Both dishes were great and went very well a couple pints of beer. Sea food chowder was really nice and fish and chips were lovely but burger was very disappointing, just a massive patty cooked to within an inch of being flavourless put on a limp bit of lettuce and a slice of tomato. For a gastro pub that used to be renowned for its sea food. There was a very limited selection on the menu, salmon (catch of the day) or fish and chips. View all feedback.

Amazing place staff were great! Fish and chips were the best we’ve had on our trip with homemade batter! The meat pie was incredible! Highly recommended stop!
