Was Max V at Abc Liquors a mag?
This is a solid liquor store with a range of beers, wines, and spirits that will meet the needs of about 90% of customers. However, if you’re looking for a more extensive selection for making cocktails, this might not be the best place for you. For example, they only stock one type of vermouth (Martini and Rossi) and three amaros (the usual Campari, Aperol, and Montenegro). View all feedback.

What Scott F dislikes about Abc Liquors:
I am a semi-regular, however my visit from 26 June 2020 left a lot to be desired, as there was at least one person w/ no mask on in the store whom the staff made NO attempt to stop from shopping, paying and then leaving. This is WITH proper door signage for 'the rest of us ' to observe (regarding masks being required). The fact that he and his (mask wearing) friend parked their Chevy SUV in a handicapped spot when th... View all feedback.

This restaurant was a regular spot for me during my teenage years. Although a lot has changed since then, I can confidently say that everything has only gotten better. The atmosphere is bright and inviting, offering a diverse range of options. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable; I even had a delightful conversation with the gentleman at the counter, who shared some fascinating stories about the neighborhood's history. Additionally, they feature an impressive selection of beer, wine, and whiskey.

I looked up their hours online, and it indicated that they were open, but when I got there, they were closed. It felt like a waste of my time, so they really need to update their hours.

Since I live within walking distance, I frequent this liquor store a lot. Good for your run of the mill standard stuff. Also quite a selection of local craft beer. Not the place to find German Hefe-Weissen, unfortunately. But we get a lot of our wine and beer and wine coolers and other liquors here. Prices seem about average. They sometimes have tasting samples. All in all, a good place. However, I'll sometimes go to ABC in Fox Run or up to Total Wine and More for a bigger selection, and to compare prices (some better, some not). I've seen some negative reviews, and can't say the reviewers are lying, but can definitively say that I've never seen anything bad like that in the several dozen times I've been in this store. So don't pass this store by because some disgruntled customer who visited once wrote a negative review.

I hate writing bad reviews. The owner of this place is stunningly bad at customer service. If he doesn't like the way you look, or if you spend too much time in the shop, you get yelled at to get out. I am a professional in my 50s. I came by to shop for a bottle of wine and was browsing for maybe 5 minutes. I have never been treated so rudely. From previous reviews, I thought this only happened to people who were a nuisance. Wow, was I ever wrong. This isn't the only problem: his clerks and manager could care less about the business. I get around by myself in a liquor or wine store usually. Seeing their responses (and the one time I had a question) to other customers is, frankly, just bizarre. They do have a pretty good selection, so there is that. It's just not worth it when it comes to the way you get treated, though.
