I messaged a day ahead to find out if they could accommodate someone with celiac disease and was happy to find out that there were so many options! Their sister restaurant across the street also is accommodating for celiacs, although with fewer options. The cornbread served instead of bread is absolutely delicious… I think the best I have ever had. You definitely have to try this restaurant if you require gluten-free and you are looking for a safe place to eat at! I highly recommend!

And, they have the most fantastic GF sticky toffee pudding for desert! They don't advertise it as GF, so as to not put off other diners.

We... read more August was recommended to us by a friend whose taste in restaurants we trust. We were NOT disappointed. August has a good menu and our meals were delicious. We will definitely go back. In fact, the tourtiere was so good we returned the next day to purchase an entire pie!
