What User doesn't like about Mackay Golf Club:
I wouldn't recommend playing on a Sunday. They don't take tee time reservations and just cram as many players as possible onto both the 1st and 10th tees throughout the day. They even allow groups of 5 or 6 to play, which really slows down the game. Green are beautiful and super friendly staff. always nice to have service with a smile.
Absolutely fabulous course in A1 condition. Pro shop staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely drop by again. Pro shop team only outdone by bar staff who were incredible.
We organised a birthday party on the venue one evening here at the Gold House. Kath and her team took the event to the next level. The food was magnificent, the staff treated us like family, they opened their hearts to make sure we were comfortable, fed and entertained. The place is great, but the staff under the leadership of Kath makes this a venue of next level magnitude. Thank you team Golf Club. You are amazing. We wish to give you a seven star if we could.
