Dear Melvin, The halibut you prepared was honestly the best fish I’ve had in ages. My boyfriend and I still talk about that dish, and it’s been months! Everything we ordered that night was delicious, especially the coconut shrimp – it was incredible and definitely a must-try! As for you, Jimmy, that Gin and Prosecco drink was something else! I had two of them, which I probably shouldn’t have, but they were so tasty—thank you! Now, to anyone still reading who is considering visiting this place, what truly made this a five-star experience was the conversation we had with Schultzy himself. His family happened to be at the bar, and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience. He shared the story behind the restaurant and was incredibly kind and personable. Overall, it was a fantastic random date night. A couple of things we didn't love: The space is quite small, so if you want a table, be sure to make a reservation. It was very busy even on a weeknight, but we don’t mind sitting at the bar. The hostess told us there were no tables available, but we noticed several empty ones at the back of the restaurant, which was a bit odd. She could have also been a bit warmer. In conclusion, great chefs, excellent service, beautiful decor, and a cute, casual vibe make this place perfect for intimate gatherings, first dates, or a girls' night out. We will definitely be back!
I stopped by for lunch to check out the hype surrounding this little North Shore gem, and it truly lives up to the praise. Although the dining room is small, it’s elegantly decorated. Our experience began with the bartender/waiter, who warmly welcomed us, introduced himself, and seated us right away. The shrimp cocktail was substantial, akin to a steakhouse portion, accompanied by a zesty cocktail sauce. The baked clams were bursting with flavor and had a lovely hint of clam chowder. I also enjoyed the shrimp Po' boy, although I wish the sauce had a bit more kick to it; it wasn’t quite a remoulade, but still delicious. I will definitely be returning to try the dinner menu!
I enjoyed a small house salad followed by pan-seared scallops served with risotto. Both dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, doing an excellent job throughout our meal. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and laid-back, with sports playing on the TVs. It has a nice bar area, and the open kitchen allows you to see that everything is clean and above board.
The food was amazing! Our server Jennifer was so attentive and efficient. We ordered too much but left satisfied. The fish was fresh and delicious. Even the busboy was attentive and friendly. A definite place to enjoy fresh and delicious seafood. Everyone was friendly and polite
The food is spectacular, but what endeared me to the place more was how welcoming the staff was. Even though we obviously weren 't part of the 'local ' regulars, we felt totally welcomed and at home. My husband had the Seafood Fra Diavolo (perfect amount of heat), and I had a salad with the seared tuna. Tuna was like butter. Best meal we had in our trip to NY.
