Was Kathryn E Johnson at Tbsp a mag?
Melbourne locals visiting Perth first place we went to after arriving at the airport. Cannot say enough great things about tbsp. The food and coffee live up to the hype. The coffee was prompt, smooth and very tasty. The food was exceptional. Flavours were so good and generous portions. View all feedback.
What Thi Thiều dislikes about Tbsp:
My partner loves this cafe, brings all his friends here since it's very in his style of hipster off the track cafe; However, I am celiac and have found that this cafe is unable to cater very well to me as I am limited food items on the menu. One is the beef brisket and the other being just eggs, I got the beef brisket this time and while it was very good, it seemed a bit out of place for a breakfast trip to this cafe... This cafe specialises in Brunch with a fusion of East meets West cuisine. The food is eclectic and tasty with choice that should appease most diners. The food ranges from eggs on taost, cooked three ways, chicken congee to brisket benedict. The coffee is excellent with a choice of beans, Columbian was my choice, and a couple of different production methods. The staff are efficient and friendly. A really popular eating place this is its only 'downside'. You cannot book so have to wait for a free table but this does not dampen enthusiasm for TBSP and a congenial atmosphere outside makes the waiting almost a pleasure. On a rainy winters day in Perth the atmosphere and food inside was warm and inviting. This will be a regular spot for coffee and/or brunch and while the coffee is not so cheap I think it is worth it.
Truly a hidden gem away from the city. This place offers really good food and the coffees are excellent too!
The food here is absolutely fantastic but the reason I gave it only a 3 star is because the drinks are so overpriced. Green matcha latte with soya milk $7.50 also a peony tea $7.00 also served in a glass cup, which made up for almost half the cost.
Tbsp. is a trendy and well-maintained Korean cafe located in Bayswater on King William St, near the intersection of Whatley Crescent. The cafe operates on a walk-in basis, so when we visited on a Sunday morning at around 10am, we were able to be seated right away. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, with many dishes being traditional Australian breakfast items with an Asian influence.
