This resturant is for those who can eat authentic Thai food, especially from the Esarn region. We have been here at least a half dozen times even though half an hour from our place. I am gradually working my way through the menu and throughly enjoying the experience. As a westerner I have to remember to order mild to medium as medium is hot (for non Thais) and hot is Thai hot ie extremely hot as my friend found out w... View all feedback.

Very nice local place, locate close to teh railway station, easy local shopping parking, very spacious seating arrangement. Food is on the spicy side. Fish cake was on the fishy side for me. The money bag and stuff chicken wings was ok, not to rave...More View all feedback.
4.75 actually. This cosy little restaurant tucked away in Bayswater probably has the most authentic thai cooking in Perth. Whereas other thai restaurants tend in my opinion to sometimes bend towards western tastebuds, Esarn thankfully does not. The tom Yam Gung soup in particular was delicious. The service is just nicely attentive without being intrusive. I would happily go again. Recommended
I went there for my friend’s birthday. Food are spicy but it is lovely. I cannot eat too spicy foods. All my friends can eat spicy foods. Staff are friendly and service is good.
My husband and I went to Thai Esarn for lunch Friday last week for the first time. We were greeted by a friendly waitress who showed us the menus and came back to take out order. We chose an entree of stuffed chicken wings and an entree of fish cakes. I ordered the beef salad for mains and my husband ordered the massaman curry. The wings were excellent! Crispy and very morish. The fish cakes were also very good, we always order fish cakes at Vietnamese restaurants and these were the same ones we get from them, very tasty. My beef salad had great flavour and spice but the serve was very small and the beef itself was very, very tough. The salad was a tomato quartered and some slices of cucumber with a very nice zesty, spicy dressing. I've never ordered this before so not sure if that's how it is supposed to be. My husband's massaman curry had huge pieces of really tender beef with potato pieces in a beautiful sauce. He loved it Overall I was disappointed with my salad, I was still hungry when we left but... I would go back another time and try something else on the menu.
THE best Thai within at least 50kms IMO!! Great staff (though never eaten in! But takeaway is always on the dot, piping hot and flavours that just cannot be reproduced at home.... why would you even try!!! Waiting time for phone orders is around 20 minutes, which says to us they are 'on it ' as soon as you phone through. Without doubt, our favourite go to place for over 10 years! And great that they are open virtually all the days times now- loyal as labradors to us!!
They are so friendly and helpful. Their food is so tasty and full of flavour. I 'm a vegan and they always check 'no animal products ' before making my food. Decor is quite old and outdated but doesn 't matter when the food is this yummy
