Mi Table - Bay City

Two times on this place, once for brunch and once for dinner. have loved all the meals I had there and the service is always excellent. highly recommended to try this place!

We had great hopes, but all the food was bland bland bland. the cheeky crust was cruel and something I would find in the frozen food department, and the kies was tasteless and watery. the falafel was more like guacamole with granola in it and we had to order a side if it could not be seen in salat. the side confirmed that it was nothing like falafel. the kitchen obviously tastes nothing they send or the chefs have no taste buds. the interieur is beautiful, but our waitress had a dress and seemed to avoid us when we were less than satisfied with eating. $30 for 3 of us and 2 of us sent our food back without offer to take it from the bill. unbelievably overpriced with amateur performance. a missed opportunity for the inner city of bay city unfortunately.

Food was very good. Was odd that some menu items (like mac cheese) came with a salad but my osso bucco or my husband's trout did not. Decor is well done Michigan themed. Service was a bit slow and erratic. Place can be kind of noisy when tables are full. Would go again. I would also point out that the menu posted on OpenTable is not correct.

Such a cool space! Great food and great staff! I loved that the server pointed out some features of the space and bar! I also loved hearing everything is from MI!

Had reservations but still had to wait an additional 45 minutes. After we were seated no one came to our table for 30 minutes. When they did, it was the floor manager. No wait staff ever introduced themselves and we had to catch someone as they walked by to get drinks and put in our dinner orders. Took an hour to get our food which was very good. The service was terrible so despite the appetizer and dinners being delicious I don’t think I would go again.
