Description

Cocha offers a Latin fusion menu with mixed reviews. While some diners found the food bland or mismatched, others raved about dishes like the lamb and oysters. The service received mixed feedback, with some diners praising the knowledgeable waiter while others criticized the lack of attention. Overall, the atmosphere was quiet, parking was easy, and the restaurant was seen as a top dining spot in Baton Rouge. To start the table water was the best I've ever had at a restaurant. I usually can't drink water at restaurants. Our waitress Kristen was very nice and helpful. The food was AMAZING and worth the wait. I would 100% recommend trying this place. I can'timagine anyone not liking it. We ordered Beef on a Weck and the Criollo. My husband was equally impressed and we will be back.

This place is by far one of the absolute best restaurants in Baton Rouge. I am vegan and the choices they have blew me away. The staff and owners are amazingly friendly and personable. I have dined in twice but the rest was take out for lunch. I havepeople at my job now ordering from there. You will not be disappointed. I can tell you for vegans the lasagna for dinner is verydelicious. Please do check them out. Juan, CoCo and Ronnie are the best hostesses and know the menu. Please go and write areview to say thank you because you won't regret it. Enjoy

Perfect little surprise! I parked for another restaurant but got curious as I walked by. I’m so glad the server stepped outside at the perfect moment to invite me in. He suggested the wine and salmon and did so well! I thought I knew salmon beingfrom the Seattle area but I’ve never tasted salmon this good! The green beans were perfectly cooked and the wine was awonderfully sweet moscato.

Very nice fine dining restaurant in downtown Baton Rouge. Our friends introduced us to the restaurant and we enjoyed an unhurried dinner. Cocktail menu and full wine list. Menu is divided into sharables, garden, sea, and land. In addition there aredaily specials that our waiter shared after we were seated. Every dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. The corn cakesChachapa) with pork were a hit with all of us. Many of the entrees are prepared with sous vide which made them very tender. MyOsso Buco required nothing more than a fork. Easy parking on the street near the restaurant. Reservation recommended.

The atmosphere at Cocha was wonderful. Everywhere you looked there was a pleasant surprise from the sculptures hanging from the ceiling to the lovely murals across the street. We sampled a few drinks and we might have been a little too adventurous fromeating an edible flower floating in my drink to the smoked cocktail my partner ordered. But the food and service were sublime. Ilook forward to my next visit to devour more of the incredibly well thought out combination of flavors and fresh ingredients.Highly recommend.
