Food was tasty as usual. Service was less than what we have experienced in the past. Anyone waiting on tables in a restaurant of this level should not be chewing gum. Server was very attentive at first, but then disappeared. I observed her playing on her phone in the kitchen area with other servers while we patiently waited to close out our meal. Not sure if anyone was in charge. View all feedback.
What GARY ESTRADA doesn't like about Portobello's Grill - Bocage Village:
Reservations for 7:00; seated at 7:25. Drink orders promptly taken then never delivered. Finally brought out one. Then two more and later mine. We never got bread. Never got tea or water refills. Food as always was great. Keep the kitchen but fire the management. View all feedback.
Server was excellent. Food was very good. The music through the sound system was way too loud but otherwise a good evening and meal.
Great brunch menu! Love the fresh baked bread as well. Gavin was a very personable and attentive server.
There were three of us dining for my mom’s birthday. We had a reservation and arrived on time. We didn’t order cocktails as my mom doesn’t drink and ordered our entrees pretty quickly. An hour later, we had empty water glasses and had finished our bread. We asked several times what was keeping our entrees so delayed. Our server blamed it on the kitchen. Finally a manager came by and told us that the server had forgotten to put in our order. He offered to comp a drink, appetizer, or dessert for us. We told him we hadn’t ordered any of those as we were going home to have birthday cake for my mom. Instead of taking an entree off the bill or ANYTHING, he said he was sorry he couldn’t offer us anything else. It was an awful experience and ruined my elderly mother’s birthday luncheon.
Service was good and food was excellent. The Tomato Basil soup was the best we’ve ever had.
Came in tonight and after being seated no one acknowledged my existence. After 10 minutes of being ignored I left. Went around the corner to Palermo and was welcomed with opened arms. You’ve lost a customer. Service was completely disrespectful.
