What Amara Howe doesn't like about Vanilla Bean Cafe and Restaurant:
confusing menu. I was in vanilla a few times. some dishes are in order, but I had a few of which I really didn't think much. the bruschetta is long stripes of tomato soaked (as really softened) in balsamico vinegar on soggy brot pieces. her creamy chicken prawn pasta is quite bland and tastes simple, fat instead of pampering. I do not know if this is only because their menu is so multicultural and these dishes are no... View all feedback. What Patrick C likes about Vanilla Bean Cafe and Restaurant:
Four of us had dinner on a Saturday night (after booking ahead to make sure we could get in! . Excellent service from friendly staff. We sarted with servings of toasted bread. I had lamb chops with vegies mash, followed by a scrumptious sticky date pudding coffee. Nice relaxed atmostphere, too! View all feedback.

The tofu is cooked to perfection! I love the possibilities of the Thai food here and the portion sizes are quite large. beautiful mood and friendly staff!
Very generous meals and good aromes. a lot of choice in the menu. Australian or Thai food. I've eaten a few times here and enjoy it every time.
A hello is free, and should be given when a guest arrives, or at least acknowledged in some way. We booked for a group of 12 but only 8 turned up, perhaps that...

read moreThe restaurant in question has received a range of reviews when it comes to both the food and service. Some diners have found certain dishes to be confusing or overpriced, while others have thoroughly enjoyed the meals, particularly highlighting the gluten-free options and the massaman curry. Service seems to be a mixed bag, with some customers praising the friendly staff while others have found it lacking compared to previous experiences. However, the restaurant has adapted well to COVID-19 restrictions, offering home delivery and ensuring safe dining conditions. Overall, the restaurant seems to have its ups and downs, but is worth a visit for those looking for unique and delicious Thai cuisine in Bathurst.
