had today the Mexican carving in the elephant and castle hotel. louise has surpassed this one. perfectly boiled, not dry and hard, with jalapeno slices, sweet chili sauce and acid cream with melted cheese over. to finish a generous portion salat and chips. definitiw a 10/10. View all feedback.

I will have to split this review into 2 - for the meal and for the pub itself, because the food is pretty good but the pub needs a bit of an upgrade.Visited on cold winters day for lunch and with plenty of seating available we had to jostle for a spot in the sun to keep warm. Fantastic food. Excellent staff, up for shenanigans and excellent people working there. Will literally kick the owner out of the dining room because you sat there the night before and want to sit there again. Will be stopping in everytime we visit Bathurst.
This was an awesome place the food was marvellous, service and staff very friendly. Highly recommended. Great place to visit.
Food is amazing, one of the best pizza's I've ever had.
Yesterday, we stumbled upon the Elephant Castle and had an amazing, great value lunch with our kids and elderly parents after driving from Sydney to pick cherries nearby. The staff were friendly and every tapas plate was delicious.
Cold beer good publican and staff, relaxing atmosphere
