I had one of the best roast beef dinners ever at The Salamander, and I've had quite a few! My friend ordered the lamb, while I opted for the beef with extra gravy—it was so flavorful I could practically drink it (check out the picture). We were in Bath and initially planned to enjoy a Sunday roast at another pub, but after searching for quite a while and not finding it, we spontaneously decided to try this spot. I'm so glad we did! Admittedly, when I first walked in, I was concerned I might have made a poor choice; the place was a bit dim and extremely quiet. I was worried the food wouldn't meet my expectations, but I was wonderfully surprised. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Bath. The music had a fantastic Britpop vibe as well. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Outstanding window display, and to my surprise, they serve Japanese Sapporo lager on tap! Price per person: £1–10. Service: 5. Atmosphere: 5.
