The food was good, with the pork belly stron... read more We visited Vespers after reading that it was one of the better restaurants in Basingstoke. We weren't disappointed. The food was good, with the pork belly strongly recommended. I found the scallops well presented and succulent; perhaps a little bland to taste. Desserts were also good and came with a glass of champagne, which was a very nice touch. The head waiter was professional and quite a character, and he added to our enjoyment of the evening. Worth a visit if you're in town.
