I received some vouchers for this hotel and decided to bring some friends for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We all enjoyed a delicious 3-course meal, and each dish was delightful. The staff were professional and attentive, and the bill was reasonable. Thank you Vespers for a wonderful evening!
We had a wonderful evening at the Apollo Hotel in Basingstoke. The appetizers were excellent and impressed both of us. However, the main courses did not quite meet the same level of quality. Sadly, the restaurant was quite quiet, leading to a lackluster atmosphere. Strangely, the waitress seemed unprepared for customers, resulting in a mixed experience.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff were exceptional, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
We visited Vespers after reading that it was one of the better restaurants in Basingstoke. We weren't disappointed. The food was good, with the pork belly strongly recommended. I found the scallops well presented and succulent; perhaps a little bland to taste. Desserts were also good and came with a glass of champagne, which was a very nice touch. The head waiter was professional and quite a character, and he added to our enjoyment of the evening. Worth a visit if you're in town.
