Feedback
Mixed reviews: Zizzi - Basingstoke wins praise for tasty pizzas, pastas and skillet wings but flags service inconsistency, occasional rude staff and variable takeout/desserts.
I hosted my mom's birthday celebration at this restaurant and the food was fantastic, arriving quickly. The service was exceptional and I couldn't praise the staff enough.
Worst service in a Zizzi restaurant. I have visited Zizzi in Manchester, Salisbury and this is the worst service. Starters main came all at once and the waitress said when we questioned it is ok and we can rewarm it. No politeness . I will not go again
The customer service at this restaurant was awful tonight. We waited for over an hour and our appetizers still hadn't come. When we asked the waitress for an update, she rudely informed us that others had been waiting longer and to just deal with it. Adding insult to injury, we caught her gossiping about us on the staircase with a colleague. We never got to taste the food, so we cannot provide any feedback on that. It is advisable to steer clear of this establishment.
Service was absolutely shocking. Food was nice enough but took over an hour on a quiet day to get our mains.
One must try the garlic bread at this restaurant, as it comes with balsamic onions and has a unique and delicious taste. The chicken wings are cooked in a skillet, making the meat soft and pulled rather than the traditional crispy wing. The flavor is fantastic, though not what one might expect. It is recommended to make a reservation at this branch, as it can get quite busy in the evenings.
