Lovely surroundings for a bit of lunch with my two children the staff were very happy helpful and polite the food was delicious tasting and all the other food that was coming out around us looked yummy too . my only negative things are the food was a bit expensive for the portion sizes . And my serious negative is , my son has allergies (egg and nut staff were very helpful and he was able to have lunch fish and chips but slipped up when time for pudding luckily I always check the packaging before giving him anything as they over looked that the ice cream tub he asked for which was said to be fine for him said it may contain traces of nuts . We were very lucky it came in it’s original packaging. we parents who have children with serious allergies put a lot of trust in businesses in the food industry and there seems to be a lack of education and awareness . Please educate you staff regularly .
Great food, very tasty! Staff friendly and helpful. Dogs allowed. I use a small mobility scooter, there was room for that inside or out. The disabled loo was great. I am certainly going to return to this hidden gem
We went to this venue to celebrate a good friends birthday. We sat in the courtyard area as up top was a bit windy. When we tried to order food we were told that only 3 side choices could be provided for the courtyard tables, but the full menu could be provided inside the building 3 meters away. How ridiculous was this. They also advertised a street food alleyway, again this was a lie and nothing was there to resemble a street food alleyway. £10 entrance fee for what!! Poor menu, poor service, we wont be back.
Well over priced for what we recieved, 2 small prawn nachos, was under to share £13 it wasn't even a starter for 1 person, plus 2 coffees. On the upside the staff waas friendly and helpful, Paid but would never return.
What a disappointment. Went there to catch up with friends ,have been a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, oh dear , what a change. Our first choice was off the menu so we chose fish finger ciabatta. I know you have to be trendy these days but three tiny pieces of fish in thick batter are not what I call fish fingers. The batter had the strangest taste that actually made me reach. We think it may have had vinegar in it. I scraped the rest off ,which is when I saw how tiny the fish was. The hot fish had been put on lettuce garnish which had turned brown and slimy , the ciabatta was so hard I couldn’t eat it. We didn’t say anything because somebody else was paying for us and we didn’t want to make things awkward .
