What Andy Blonde dislikes about Hatch:
I dined at this restaurant this evening with my daughter and grandson and ordered the chicken and ham hock pie, the steak and ale pie, and a child's burger with vegetables. I hadn't eaten here in several years, and to be honest, I won't be coming back! The service was good, but the food was awful. Great. beautiful atmosphere, great service and eating is exceptional. in consideration of the favorable price I was very impressed by the clear effort and quality ingredients used. in any case they recommend this place. it is very popular, so book on.

Nice little place, food was great. Nice quiet area to be situated in. My waitress Charlie was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional throughout. Definitely recommend!

Fabulous We were made to feel welcome from when we arrived until we left. The staff were attentive, without being intrusive. They were super polite, helpful and efficient. The environment was clean and tidy, we all commented that despite of a large number of covers, there was no outward stress from staff. Food was delivered at a good pace, and was hot and delicious. At no point did we feel rushed despite being i a specific time allocation. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our experience at The Hatch was great. We had chicken strips crispy squid for starters which were great. We had the cheddar bacon burger and the mixed grill for mains, they were amazing! The burger was a tasty burger, chunky patty and crispy bacon, and the jam all together tasted great. The mixed grill was arguably the best mixed grill I’ve had. Great size portions of steak and gammon, could do with a little more peppercorn sauce though. We both had the sticky toffee pudding for desert, it was rich and flavoursome. Lovely ending to a perfect 3 course meal. We were served by Bella, she was a star. Everything done right, and was attentive and patient. Will be recommending it to others and will make sure to come back again. 5 Stars, 10/10. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
