What lawdylawdy doesn't like about Mariners:
..... and the portions are generous, but I didn't much care for the haddock with skin (unusual these days) and thought the quality of the fish was pretty run-of-the-mill. Chips could have used another couple of minutes in the fryer. Still, it was a good feed washed down with some nice red wine. What User likes about Mariners:
I recently visited this restaurant and tried their amazing chips - they were light and crispy. The mariners did a great job with them. The sides were also delicious, especially the perfectly seasoned and flavorful mushrooms. View all feedback.

read moreMariners Fish and Chips has garnered a range of opinions from patrons. While some diners rave about the crispy, light chips and perfectly cooked fish, others express disappointment with greasy, soggy offerings and inconsistent quality. Complaints about service and the use of frozen ingredients highlight a potential decline in standards during busy periods. However, the clean environment, friendly staff, and large portions continue to attract loyal customers who appreciate a hearty meal. Despite the mixed reviews, Mariners remains a popular choice for fish and chip enthusiasts, with some visitors eager to give it another shot.
