The concept of the shop/coffee is quite beautiful! we went there on a Saturday for a afternoon tea, there were vegan milk but nothing vegan to eat. the personal normally said there is a vegan bake, but there is nothing more.
The lunch in the radius 39 was wonderful. suppe and quiche – both with much love homemade. then another first-class espresso, perfetto! the local is bright and airy with a pretty garden. warm service, relaxed jazz music and extremely fair prices. a beautiful selection of products from the region in the shop. a win for the quarter!
The radius 39 exclusively sells products that have been produced in a radius of 39 kilometers (up to a few exceptions.) a great concept with herzhafter farmwife kitchen in an oasis of rest. very nice, small restaurant with load. a great contrast to the many overheated gastro concepts.
You feel like at home in the radius 39: uncomplicated ambiente, very good eating (despite a small menu convincing) and very friendly service. thanks to small tram distance to the railway station well integrated into a basel visit. the integrated food shop/Vinothek also allows the small shopping.
A nice little cafe shop in Basel-West! I like the idea of producing everthing within a 39 km radius. We had the brunch on a Saturday morning. The food was very nice, including a fresh Birchermüesli and some bacon and eggs! The portions are just right, not to much not to less. The owners are friendly and flexible. Will go again
