**Restaurant Dining Experience: A Mixed Bag** Diners report a varied experience at the restaurant, with highlights in service but significant shortcomings in food quality. While some guests enjoy standout dishes like crispy fried chicken and delectable desserts, others lament overcooked meals, excessive saltiness, and tough cuts of meat. The attentive service staff earns praise consistently, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Despite a few visits that missed the mark, loyal patrons still return, hoping for better meals and quality consistency. Overall, while the ambiance and service shine, the culinary offerings could benefit from refinement to match the expectations set by their friendly environment.

I didn't have high expectations, but to my surprise, it turned out to be very good. The crispy fried chicken was extremely juicy. The sweet potato fries were delightful—soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The bread was excellent, and both the soup and salad were delicious. Additionally, the customer service was outstanding; our server was very friendly. We will definitely be returning! View all feedback.
What Ken Adams dislikes about Mike's Grill:
I've been here a handful times as of this last visit I will never go back. I ordered a New York strip and potato. All I can say is I don't know what meat they chose or cut but there was more silver skin running throughout that state I've had anywhere else in my life. The waffle House sirloin would put that thing to shame. Needless to sing it was essentially unedible. The kids had the veal parmesan it was literally th... View all feedback.
The food here is outstanding, and the portions are generous for a great price. As a salad lover, I appreciated the plentiful and delicious salad included with the daily special. I ordered the Greek meatballs over rice, which were fantastic. The meal also came with homemade soup and a large salad. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to dine!
To sum up the experience, okay breakfast, similar service to any other chain around. The smell though. This place smells like mildew and musk and I spent breakfast trying to figure out if it were me, if I'd left my clothes in the washer or something...,the seat, the air, someone near me... the food was fine. Got a country fried chicken, pancakes, bacon. Completely average, if you told me it was frozen chicken cutlets smothered in canned sawmill gravy I'd have shrugged and believed you. The menu had a vegetarian eggs bennadict which looked cool. Nothing spectacular, the decor is like someone raided a midlife crises fathers man cave garage. Corny signs all over the walls. They did have some cool antique machines near the entrance though. Overall I'd have been happier eating at waffle house for half the price.
Absolutely avoid this restaurant! While dining, we witnessed Manny in the kitchen using foul language and disrespecting his coworkers, and his rude comments echoed throughout the entire establishment. I've never seen such a level of disrespect towards staff in any place I've dined. This experience has cost them our business, and I strongly encourage others to think twice before visiting. I plan to share this incident widely. It was shocking to see the front manager and servers laughing at Manny's treatment of the employees in front of customers. My husband and I were appalled and didn't even touch our food before leaving. Other diners also expressed their disgust. To top it off, as we were exiting, Manny waved at us and told us to "get the hell out."

The waffle House sirloin would put that thing to shame. Needless to sing it was essentially unedible. The kids had the veal parmesan it was literally the same stuff you could buy at Walmart in the noodles were way overcooked. That really sure what happened to this place but they will not make it another year if they continue serving things like this.
