**Restaurant Review: JC's Mexican Cuisine**
JC's Mexican Cuisine in Bartlett, IL, uniquely blends an inviting atmosphere with a diverse menu that boasts authentic flavors. While many patrons praise the delicious dishes and friendly service, opinions on the food can vary. Popular choices such as chile relleno and tacos delight some, while others find their meals lack seasoning. Pricing has received mixed feedback—some appreciate the value, while others feel certain items are overpriced due to hidden fees. The cozy outdoor seating adds to the charm, making it a pleasant spot for casual dining or gatherings, though expectations around food quality should be tempered. Overall, a mixed but generally favorable dining experience.

I visited JCs for dinner last Saturday night and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like you're dining in someone's home. We were seated immediately, and our server brought us chips and salsa right away. The drinks were fantastic, and the food was even better. The al pastor tacos and the torta were exceptional. I've been to many excellent Mexican restaurants in the city, and JCs ranks among the best.
The entire staff is beyond courteous and very helpful. Helpful in the way to answer any questions or specifics you would have on their menu. The various authentic, and extremely delicious Mexican food dishes are the best in Bartlett. Their Al pastor is mouth watering and I can honestly say the best I've ever had. Order it in a taco, gordita, torta, burrito, or just by itself with a fork. You'll immiedetly want to eat it again in all of the ways I just mentioned and then some. If you want a real treat afterwards, order yourself a tres leches cake for dessert. You can thank me later!
Delicious food and excellent service! Please consider supporting this local family-owned business; you won't be disappointed.
This family-owned restaurant in the heart of downtown Bartlett serves the best margaritas, and their delicious recipes come directly from Mexico. In the summer, you can relax on their patio, savoring excellent food and drinks while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Bartlett. Highly recommended!
The drinks and outdoor seating area were quite delightful. However, the food left much to be desired—it was bland and overpriced. The menu stated that dishes came with two sides, but then there was an extra $3.00 charge for those sides, which was misleading. It seemed like there were additional fees for everything: for instance, a two-taco platter had one price, but if you wanted one taco prepared a certain way and the other differently, it cost an extra dollar. Even selecting a sauce came with a $2.50 charge. It was quite frustrating. While I would come back for the drinks, chips, and salsa, I wouldn't return for the food. On a positive note, the staff was friendly.
