I always love visiting Unity to meet friends, have a delicious cuppa fair trade coffee and enjoy some amazing home made fare. My compliments to the both the food creator (Stacy) and the creator of the space (Shane)...both are wonderful, down to earth and community driven. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Unity Market:
We attempted to visit this restaurant multiple times, but were unable to reach anyone as our calls always went to voicemail. The operating hours are erratic and inconsistent, making it seem as though they are closed more often than they are open. Best of luck. View all feedback.

If you want fresh and all natural you need to try the Unity Marke. The owner Shane is a great guy and Stacy the cook makes wonderful sandwiches!
As I already said, I love this place. I love the people, I love the coffee, I love the treats and I particularly love the outside seating area. It's cool, unpretentious and the staff actually make you feel as if they care - what a novelty (especially in Barrie)! If you've driven past and never bothered to stop, then I suggest you do. Give it a try, there's nothing else like it in Barrie.N.B. Although I've dated this review September 2015, I've been there several times before and since that time. Also, they seem to cater for those on gluten-free diets, although that's not an issue for me.
Excellent vibe, super friendly great coffee and food. Lots to see. Great collection of vinyl records that you can play on the cafés turntable, best find in Barrie in some time. Keep it up. Don't change anything.
Right at the bottom of the Kempenfelt Bay where Toronto St starts is Unity Market. It is the perfect place to stop and recharge with some home cooked food and an awesome drink. Local organic ingredients are used in its meals for all tastes. In the summer you will always find tomatoes and spices growing in their planters around their large patio.A large vinyl record collection, art on the walls and shelves greets you when you enter. You are welcome (at least I am :) to pick though the album collection and spin one or two records while we order and eat!If you are a vegetarian you will be in good hands. Shane is always accommodating with whatever food fancy you may be craving. As an accompaniment to your meal he always has some pleasant anecdotes from his latest adventures.Ask him about the music studios in the back and the many musical participative events hosted there in the evenings.Unity Market keeps me coming back not only for its food, but the ability to create a real laid back escape for me and our friends.
