I’m always nervous eating out as I get sick most of the time. I decided to get the kale salad with no barley and she changed to whatever dressing was gf. I got added chicken and made sure to let kitchen know about how severe I am! It was delicious and I was totally fine. Great service and nice patio! View all feedback.
Amazing menu! tons gluten-free options! the nachos were delicious! seriously recommend!
Had gluten-free options directed on many. gluten-free fish and chips was very hard and crispy (it would not recommend).
If you have Celiac disease or are concerned about food safety, I strongly advise against dining here. I ordered a gluten-free bun for my burger and specifically spoke with the staff to emphasize my severe gluten allergy. Despite this, the restaurant sent my order with a bag containing gluten-laden steak sauce. When I tasted the sauce, it seemed off, so I called again and discovered that it indeed contained gluten. The manager apologized and claimed that the staff was trained (but given that the restaurant had two serious infractions in its last health inspection, I'm skeptical about how effective their training actually is). She said she would retrain them, but based on their past performance with Simcoe Muskoka health, I doubt anyone is being adequately trained. Most restaurants would offer a complimentary meal in response to such a serious error, but I was instructed to request a refund through Uber Eats instead. To top it all off, the food was overpriced and mediocre. If I could give zero stars, I would.
I often feel anxious when dining out because I tend to get sick frequently. However, I decided to order the kale salad without barley and requested a gluten-free dressing. I added chicken and made sure to inform the kitchen about my severe allergies. The meal was delicious, and I had no issues afterward. The service was excellent, and the patio was lovely!
The restaurant offered a variety of gluten-free options on their menu. However, I found the gluten-free fish and chips to be very hard and overly crispy, so I wouldn’t recommend it.
