Slice of heaven. I was a tourist in the area therefore limited in what I could try. Everything looked divine. Bought a few different pastries, the cherry quark cake was fantastic and the Florentiners were the most delicate and tasty morsels ever created with almond, butter, and chcolate. What Multi Guitar Player doesn't like about Sigrids Bakery:
Not European style, or quality cakes. Being from a European background, I figured that we've hit the jackpot. Not! Had a plain white, 3 layered cake, with white icing. Cake was more than moist..downright wet, and the icing tasted like coloured Crisco. This is a wonderful Bakery and Deli. Fantastic food and great service, with a smile. I go back and back and back.
Their products are fresh and typically traditional I would go there every day if I could afford it, they are a bit expensive but you can't beat the freshness and flavour.
It's a pleasure every time I get a chance to go there. The quality of the baking is fantastic. I'm thankful I have been going since I moved here.
I loved their baked pastry so much I have craving from time to time, still remember the taste from two months ago.
Great baked goods, but it isn't a café b/c there's no seating. It's a takeout bakery and German importer.
