The recipe is simple: The food is great, the owners are wonderful and kind and the atmosphere is welcoming.

As soon as you s... read more I have visited Fil a few times, and each experience has been a genuine delight. The exterior may not seem very impressive, but don’t be fooled. As soon as you step through the front door, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the vibrant decor that adorns the walls. They've been in business for nearly 40 years, during which time they've collected various mementos and memories, all of which are proudly displayed throughout the restaurant. The establishment is run by a lovely older couple and their son, all of whom are very friendly and welcoming. The food is fantastic, at least based on the dishes we tried. I highly recommend the Big Bear breakfast! And don’t forget to ask about their homemade hot sauce—it’s delicious!
