the food was good. if they are gf and milk free, there are limited possibilities to breakfast. other reviews mention a gf deep frit, but the server was shameful (and double checked with the kitchen) that her frit is not gf. this takes a series of elements that are listed as gf on the menu from the run. they have a gf toaster View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dunlop Street Diner:
they have some gluten-free “friendly” items on the menu and offer gluten-free brot alternative. they confirmed, however, that their frit is not dedicated to gluten-free and they could not guarantee cross-contamination in preparation. View all feedback.

3 server on the personal are celiac so they get it. separate frit and gluten-free options. I felt safe here.
Staff was very knowledgeable. 2 have celiac. Dedicated fryer and most things can be made gf. Gf eggs Benedict and skillet was amazing.
The staff and owners are well-informed and genuinely care about gluten-free options. The hash browns are gluten-free, and they offer homemade gluten-free hollandaise sauce and toast! The portion sizes are just right, and the prices are reasonable! It’s authentic diner food at a fair price. Their meats and eggs are organic and locally sourced, and you can really taste the difference. As someone with Celiac disease, I haven’t been able to enjoy breakfast for many years, but this gem has changed that.
The food was good. However, for those with gluten and dairy restrictions, breakfast options are quite limited. Other reviews noted a gluten-free deep fryer, but the server was apologetic and confirmed with the kitchen that the fryer is not gluten-free. This means that several items listed as gluten-free on the menu are not actually safe for those with dietary restrictions. On a positive note, they do have a gluten-free toaster available.
