Had a great dinner here . I enjoyed a Bahama mama . Even thou it wasnt mark gluten free on the menu , I had had the Fiesta Lime Chicken in the states . I asked our server and sure enough it is gf here...as well . The only thing I would do different next time, is ask for more sauce . There wasnt really enough to have with the rice and the corn chips . We finished off with a crustless cheese cake . Very yummy . View all feedback.
What Alek Bechtelar doesn't like about Applebee's:
First time at this Applebee 's since recent move to Barrie area. Ordered zesty buttermilk chicken sandwich and a classic cheeseburger, plus a side caesar salad that we returned due to 'old ' lettuce. Sandwiches were just okay, nothing special. Service was average. This location was not...as good as the one in Ajax, ON, but then the menu had been overhauled completely. View all feedback.
The food was good but not the best, the waiters/waitresses here are very friendly and overall they are very good. Would recommend
Good pub food. The staff very friendly and attentive.Nice atmosphere. Really enjoyed my evening there with my daughter. Prices are quite resonable.
We ate a light supper. I had the chicken sandwich which was spicy. It was fine. My husband had the chicken wrap that was heavy on cheese light on chicken. I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service was very good. Food...More
I was staying in Cambridge and thought all branches of a restaurant are the same . Sadly not the case because this location could spin circles around that one. Definitely my go to restaurant for sit down dinner in Barrie
First and last time for lunch at Appleby's. We both ordered the Chicken Thai Wrap. The wrap was comprised of bagged salad mix & either precooked chicken slices like you get from Walmart, or chicken that was previously frozen & then quickly thawed in the microwave-some pieces were so hard & dry, they proved un-chewable. This was the complete opposite of the outside tortilla wrap, which was sooooo chewy, it made my jaw sore. The presentation was lackluster & the dozen soggy fries accompanying it did nothing to improve it. On the upside, our waitress was polite & friendly & the Teriyaki dipping sauce tasted identical to the VH Teriyaki sauce I have in my fridge.Neither of us finished our wraps but I did take mine home so I could unwrap it & confirm my assumptions before writing this review. I think that 13.99 each for poorly made wraps of inferior products is just way too much. Save your money, time & tastebuds for something other than these regrettable wraps.
