This place when I was there was up for sale. I didn't eat there but had a drink. Never went inside as I sat in the beer garden. There is work to be done there. It is run down. It is placed on a main road and there would be passing trade so good for anyone buying. Has rooms above. Having seen a flat above it also needs work. The one member of staff that I saw was friendly. My daughter took me here for a treat and it was lovely. We had the Vegan burger and a traditional ploughman's lunch brought out to us in the garden to enjoy on a summer's evening. The service was excellent and very welcoming and the food very good indeed.

Went here for some lunch. I won't be coming back. I ordered the fish and chips when it came out it looked beautiful on first site fresh and fluffy batter. Unfortunately the fish inside the batter was obviously frozen. Inside it was like a watery mush and not nice at all. My colleague ordered a chicken curry which did not look or taste great at all. The sauce of the curry was like water and the chicken was that sparse it looked like the had picked it off of a drumstick and chucked it in the watery sauce was pretty much inedible. Granted we did not complain to the staff one because of the time restraint on our lunch break , and two we asked how our meals were before we had even taken a bite so had already said it was fine ,we were wrong it was awfully.
