After a long break, we finally returned between the first and seco... read more We used to frequent this restaurant many years ago, but for various reasons stopped visiting. After a long break, we finally returned between the first and second lockdowns and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was delightful, the staff were excellent, and the food was as delicious as we remembered. I ordered garlic mushrooms and a pizza funghi, both of which were delicious. We definitely will not wait so long to come back next time.

The food is still fantastic, a truly authentic Italian restaurant, and Leo continues to charm with his Mediterranean hospitality. By far the best Italian option in Barnsley!

I checked several websites for their opening hours and all of them stated that they were open for lunch on Mondays. However, when I arrived at 12:45, the restaurant was closed with the shutters up. I was disappointed.

The res... read more Visited here for a date night and was very disappointed we were in and out within 50 minutes the plates were cold ie. served hot food on cold plates?? . The restaurant was very cold and when I went upstairs to use the bathroom facilities it was Baltic no heating on at all upstairs!! It was very rushed and the atmosphere in the restaurant was also cold. Food was average would not recommend or return ….drive through a take longer !!

Never been before, booked a table for 10 of us for a meal catchup, they cater very well for Celiacs on a gluten free diet which was great for two of our group,... read more Never been before, booked a table for 10 of us for a meal catchup, they cater very well for Celiacs on a gluten free diet which was great for two of our group, every dish was enjoyed had that authentic Italian feel, plus the staff were entertaining tentative at the right level, loved it we will return. Great value too!.
