Nice friendly staff happy to chat while you wait food not too greasy worth a visit if your in the area
This was our first and last time visiting this fish and chip shop. The fish cake was undercooked and cold, with soggy batter. The chips were mediocre at best, and I've had better elsewhere. Additionally, they forgot the curry sauce. Overall, we were very unimpressed.
One of my friends ordered a kebab wrap at 8:30pm and had still not received the delivery when we called at 9:20pm. We were told that the delivery guy had called three times (but there were no missed calls on our phone). Despite the restaurant still being open, they refused to deliver my friend's order. The customer service from the owner was terrible, and I will never order from them myself. The lady on the phone initially seemed pleasant and willing to help, but the overall experience left us with a negative impression. This is a pub that has lost orders from multiple potential customers.
The portion size for the price we paid was unacceptable. We were shocked to find that a large meal was equivalent to a kid's meal. It felt like a waste of money considering we paid 20 pounds for what would normally be two fish specials priced at 3.50 each. We won't be ordering from this restaurant again.
What a lovely chippy very friendly staff and outstanding service.The fish and chips were very tasty. will definitely go back there.Keep up the brilliant work guys.
