Reviews - Man Chui
Reviews summary
Man Chui presents a dichotomy of dining experiences. While many loyal patrons cherish the consistent quality and flavor of the food, particularly with its extensive vegetarian options, recent visits have raised concerns about hygiene and service. Complaints range from greasy, poorly cooked takeout to unpleasant restaurant conditions, including sticky carpets and unhygienic restrooms. However, dining in is still favored by several customers who appreciate the warm atmosphere and accommodating staff. For those seeking varied and flavorful meals, the menu remains a highlight, but concerns about cleanliness and inconsistency in service may deter new guests.

I have been dining at Man Chui for over 20 years, and I have never been disappointed by the consistently high quality of the food. The complimentary crispy coated nuts and pickles served as you sit down are delicious. The menu features a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options, with some of my favorites being the spring rolls, mock duck, and shredded crispy tofu in an edible basket (crispy and crunchy with a sweet, sticky sauce). I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent service, I find that most Asian eateries will not accept assistance dogs without a fuss. However, the staff were very accommodating with my hearing dog. The food and service in general was excellent. Thank you for a lovely meal.
I ordered takeout and unfortunately had to throw it away because it lacked flavor and was greasy. The interior of the restaurant feels like a blast from the past, reminiscent of the 1960s.
My experience at Man Chui on 8/2/20 was disappointing. Despite being a typically reliable local Chinese restaurant, I encountered poor service, unfriendly staff, cold food, and dirty, sticky floors. After many years of patronizing this establishment, I have decided not to return.
I went to Man Chui with my family to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious as always and the staff were friendly and attentive. Two of us were vegetarian and the menu offered great options that we enjoyed. Our group ranged in age from 20 to 82, and everyone left satisfied. Thank you.

I've been eating at Man Chui for over 20 years. In all this time, the high quality of food has never aged. Also the crispy coated nuts and pimples that are free as you sit are delicious. The menu has a very wide range of vegan and vegetarian courses. Some of my favorites are the spring rolls, the Mock duck and crushed crispy tofu in an edible basket (cribable, crispy with a sweet, sticky sauce). Very recommended.

Datum: time of the clock: the resturant has just opened when we are there, but very welcoming good service and in the position to change the menu to come and advise accordingly. good menu selection and eating came immediately decor needs boost and painting as its old shows. had the following eating mixed platter for the first time I had cleaned and enjoyed it and good mix of crushed chicken prawn, prawn toast (a replacement for us), jump rolls and seaweed. all really nice and fresh mixed veg stir fry another beautiful dish and as they are expected from a good chinese chicken and black bean will be beautiful and sizzling arrived and as they expect and happy for that as its...more
I had the unfortunate to eat here half-regularly in recent years, never from the choice, as from an unknown reason, it seems to be favored by others I know. Apart from the fact that eating is inspiring, tasteless and tasteless, the biggest problem is cleanliness. they always say that they can tell a lot about the condition of the kitchen by looking at the bathroom and who probably do not get here since the place open they are not even clean when they go to use them. the restaurant itself is also dirty, smelly and in the necessity of some attention I really think terrible what dirt is actually going into the food in this kitchen. a place to avoid, at...more
This restaurant looks great, but eating is absolutely terrible, we had a meal delivered from there yesterday evening and it was without doubt the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten, very much blanching, badly cooked, the huhn chow mien had no womb and no taste, the fried rice was completely tasteless and had no ice? very disappointing and a total drop off! I called for the first time in my life complaining and the girl said that it was sorry that eating was bad, but the cook was very busy?
