The restaurant suits perfectly to the hotel (a palacio). Located in a renovated former stable, it is furnished with care and antiques and modern elements. On the first view you would think to find yourself in a museum of a private collector. A lot of care and love is put in the collection of the items. The night stayed and had dinner in connection with a wedding. Very nice room, great dinner and excellent breakfast. The staff is very friendly and professional. The owner does not speak so much English, but it still manages to be social and helpful, and there are other employees who speak English almost perfectly. Many furniture are antiques with interesting stories. The rooms are super nice, but a little expensive. The gardens are really beautiful. As for the location, Ajo is difficult to reach, and if you are there, the hotel is a solid 20 minutes walk from the beach through land. Very recommended if you can afford it and get one of the eight rooms they have.

It was the perfect setting for a romantic dinner surrounded with congenial music.
Every meal was a new and wonderful experience. The chef is an artist! The menu is varied each day and the combinations are perfecto!
This place has an amazing atmosphere. The decorations in the rooms, restaurant and garden make this a unique experience. Our room had a small garden and the bed was really comfortable. The staff was very friendly. They even drove us to the city centre so we could use an ATM. (We could of course pay with a credit card, but later we need money for our trip. There was a WiFi connection, but only in the living room. The walls were too thick for the signal to pass. I don't think this was a problem because you don't want to spend a lot of time watching screens while here. Dinner at the restaurant was great. I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could eat more of it! This place is a bit expensive, but definitely worth it.
Easy quirky, totally romantic stopover. Very recommended (if you like this type of thing). Run by a lady who seems to have this as her day job if not a main character as SuperHero in a Marvel ****. Great food, rustic, hearty, delicious. The same lady as boss (of course).
