I wish I could have the lobster bisque every day! The Lazy Man Lobster dinner was also top-notch. Overall, this restaurant made a lasting impression on me. Even though I live far away, I would definitely be a regular if I were closer.
We had lunch on a cruise ship and the menu offered a variety of options. The restaurant was spacious and we ordered a hamburger, a corned beef sandwich, and a lobster dip. The food was decent but not quite up to a 5-star standard. The rye bread on my sandwich was slightly burnt and there were too many spices in the lobster dip, which made it taste like imitation crab. The burger tasted good but the patty was overcooked. The service was okay, we were seated and ordered quickly, but had to wait a while for our food. Once we got our food, our server disappeared and we had to ask for our check. Overall, the experience was mediocre and while I don't regret dining there, I may try another restaurant next time.
The food at this restaurant was excellent. I tried the pub burger with truffle fries. While the burger was better than average, it didn't quite reach a 5-star rating. The truffle fries, however, were amazing. The service was outstanding and we loved the view of the port from our table. Overall, I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars.
#1 Favourite spot on our trip to Bar Harbor without a doubt hands down. Large beer selection, excellent food and a beautiful view of the marina. It was such a beautiful day low 70's and a bit cloudy a perfect day to sit on the terrace. The Pub Dip and Reuben were great choices along with a Guinness to wash them
My wife and I had a quick minute for breakfast so we stopped by and were not disappointed! The lobster Benedict stole the show, but is that a surprise to anyone!?! We enjoyed this amazing breakfast before going out for the day and only wished we had time to come back for lunch or dinner to try some of the things on those menus!
