This is the best experience from 3 years of travel throughout the country! It has been rebuilt (only opened for 3 weeks since the time of this booking). The rooms are clean, many windows for bright and picturesque furniture. The beds were super comfortable. Even the towels were the softest and most luxurious of my many stays in hotels all over the country. It's really like staying home away from home. The hotel staff... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Little Fig:
It was supposed to be newly renovated and if it was, I would hate to see what it was like before. The room was dark and dingy. It was very old. The bathroom was terrible, I went to plug-in the blow dryer and it made an awful sound and I told my husband to go get another one and when I went back to the bathroom it was smoking and he had to run it out of our smoky room. When we first checked it the room had an awful sm... View all feedback.
This has been the best experience I've had in three years of traveling across the country! The property has recently been renovated, having only reopened three weeks prior to my visit. The rooms are spotless, with plenty of windows that showcase beautiful, bright furnishings. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and even the towels were the softest and most luxurious I've encountered during my numerous hotel stays. It truly felt like a home away from home. The hotel staff was fantastic—helpful and knowledgeable, providing great local insights. I almost hesitate to give this place a glowing review out of fear that it will book up quickly, potentially leaving me with fewer chances to return!
What I appreciated most about this hotel was the staff; they were incredibly friendly and helpful. I arrived late and faced some confusion regarding parking because the back lot was quite full. However, an employee kindly came over to assist me, guiding me to the right parking area after I checked in. Overall, the hotel has a lovely atmosphere, is clean, and offers a convenient grab-and-go breakfast. The rooms are spacious, tidy, and the beds are very soft, making for a comfortable stay. It's also within walking distance to the city, which is a big plus.
We visited Little Fig on September 30, 2022, and found the staff to be incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were beautiful and spotless, with the added bonus of daily housekeeping service without the need for requests. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast and coffee right in the heart of Bar Harbor. The location was perfect, just a stone’s throw from Acadia National Park, allowing us to explore all the sights we wanted during our three-night stay. We also rented electric bikes to ride along the Carriage Trails in Acadia, and there was a very convenient bike rental shop directly across the street. Little Fig is definitely a fantastic place to stay while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Enjoy your trip!
One of the best hotel experiences! The rooms were clean and clean. Refrigerator in the room was very helpful and they had fresh cookies and coffee and yogurt muffins for the guests every morning! The location was walking distance to everything we needed and 10 minutes drive to all the views and hikes of the Acadia National Park. The staff was also very accommodating! 5 5 5 amazing!!
Very nice newly updated hotel. Staff was very friendly. Sky the manager was super helpful. Close to downtown and across the street from a grocery store if there's anything else you need for your trip. Well worth your consideration.
